Ramayana Yatra launched by IRCTC

The Indian Railway Catering & Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) has designed a package for a trip to places of religious importance and shrine based areas. The Ramayana Yatra, as the name suggests, covers areas like Hampi, Nashik, Ayodhya, Rameshwaram among others. It costs Rs 15,830 per person for a duration of 15 days.

The train will be a sleeper class train with tour escorts and train security, dormitory services for staying purposes in the night. IRCTC has also arranged non-AC buses to travel within the city limits for its passengers.

The Ramayana Yatra will flag its first trip on the 14th of November this year. IRCTC has plans to launch other packages across the country. Yatra packages will be soon available for places in Goa, Hyderabad, and Mumbai among others. These will also cover sightseeing places within limits.
